Welcome!

It's an exciting time for Northwest Community Friends Church - a time of transition and challenge and opportunities, and we invite you to come join us!

Adam and Allie KemperOur new pastor Adam Kemper and his wife Allie have arrived safely and are getting settled into their apartment, and in the coming weeks will be settling into the routines, challenges, and blessings of life and ministry here!

September 5 will be Adam's first Sunday preaching as our Pastor - so we encourage you to come and meet the Kempers if you haven't had a chance to do so yet..

We've all been looking forward to their arrival ever since their first visit in early June!  They did come out for two weekend visits since then (early July, and early August) - but this time they're here to stay.  (Hurray!!!)

As you may know, another significant transition for us began on April 30, when our church was torched by an arsonist.  The damage was extensive enough that we are unable to use our building until at least mid-November. But God is good!  Cleaning and reconstruction is well under-way, and we are meeting in a temporary location that is working out very well for our congregation.  We hope you can join us at 5151 N. Oracle Rd, Suite 130, just a few feet north of Hometown Buffet (near River).  It's a cozy store-front rental, and for now it's "home" and headquarters for our church family.

As a Bible-based church family, we strive to provide a loving environment where people can find Christ. We encourage believers to seek the Holy Spirit’s leading in their lives, and to express God’s love in the world.
