WAYS TO SERVE
Our hope is that you will have enjoyed our fellowship for several months before taking on any regular commitments, but if you would like some low commitment opportunities to serve, there are a few listed below.
BUILDING & GROUNDS
Good stewardship of our facilities and grounds, including regular maintenance and special projects.
SOCIAL CONCERNS
Responding to emergency needs, annual projects, feeding the homeless, etc.
HOSPITALITY
Every Sunday morning we serve coffee and refreshments at 10:30am. Our Friendship potlucks are the first Sunday of every month. Always looking for a few helping hands!
USHERS & GREETERS
Welcoming everyone when they arrive, and assisting in collection of tithes and offerings. We begin Greeting at 9:00am every Sunday.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Participation in “special music” opportunities (choir, bells, orchestra, solos, ensembles, etc.). Also if you play guitar, bass, drums or sing, we meet every three months to plan ahead and are always looking for more folks to play. Feel free to talk to Adam or any of the band members about the details.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
If you love kids, there are many ways to get involved! From Sunday School, nursery care, and Children's Church on Sunday mornings, to Wednesday tutoring and W.A.F.F.L.E. Club, we can always use more help serving our youngest members.
If none of these are a fit, don't hesitate to talk to Pastor Adam about any other opportunities.
There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but they all come from the same Spirit. There are different ways to serve the same Lord, and we can each do different things. Yet the same God works in all of us and helps us in everything we do. The Spirit has given each of us a special way of serving others.
